Hi all! As the winter season is upon us, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me about my baby and driving her during these cold months. Some people have suggested that I do not while others suggest that there is nothing wrong with driving your corvette all year round! If I do, what kinds of things should I do if I choose to drive my car during these wintry months?

If you insist on driving your car in the winter, here's some tips that may help you out.

1) Keep the car waxed as much as possible. Also, wax inside the door jambs and around the headlamp assemble, so if ice forms it won't hang up the headlamp doors and strip the gears.

2) Spray penetrating oil on your door locks, and all around your inner wheel wells.

3) Spray the undercarraige with the 3 in 1 oil, without hitting the exhaust.

4) Keep you rims waxed.

5) Throw dry gas down your tank.

6) Have a set of spiked radial snow tires for the rear.

7) Put a set of mudflaps on to reduce chipping.

8) If possible money wise, buy a front bra.

My personal opinion about driving Vettes in the winter, is to limit it to sunny dry days. I would personally store mine until spring. I can't see how anyone could have fun driving it in the winter anyway. Good luck and happy skiing!:spin: :spin: :nono:
