Just wanted to introduce myself. I was looking at vette links and came across this forum. Lots of good info goin on here. I just bought my first Corvette. An 84 Black on Black with the targa top. I have wanted a vette since I was a little boy. Well I surely aint no little boy anymore but I finally got it. It has only been 2 weeks so far but I can't remember one night in the last 2 weeks that I haven't turned the lights on in my garage just to look at her before goin to bed.
I have some work to do on her and am hoping to get some help by reading your posts. Thanks! :D

Welcome aboard!
I know just how you feel. When I got my '99 hardtop, my wife told me to put the bed in the garage and sleep with it. I only did that when I bought my new '02 EB Z06:rolllaugh
Glad you found us, and hope you find what you need here.

Great to have you join us. I think I read in one of the issues of Corvette Fever, that the 1984 is an up and coming collectible. Enjoy, it's a great feeling. ;bt

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will post some pics as soon as I get some. I feel very lucky to have found this car. My friend is a GSM at a dealership and gave a guy $1000. for it as a trade. I gave him $1500. and now it is mine. It needs paint because the clear coat is peeling in different places. I just replaced the battery and now I have to replace the battery cables so it will start. The interior is in pretty good shape. I noticed a leak under the rear end and don't know what I am up against there. All in all though I can't complain to much.

It sounds like you did not need a lot of up front money for the car so now you can spend it where you need it. I hope the leak is not to bad.
