Transmission shudders upon acceleration @42-45 mph only. I increased timing to 6 degree's from 4 and increase rpms recently to 750-800 rpms. I am not sure that the changes I made would affect the shifting upon acceleration or not . Any adivce would be greatly appreciated. 1987 vette

Did you use the base idle screw? When the transmission shudders are you in 4th gear? and is the torque converter engaged? Have you tried putting the transmission in 3rd gear to see if it stays the same or changes? Did you possibly change the adjustment of the TV cable for the transmission? Have you ever had this problem before? Let me know the answers and anything else you can think of that may be important. Good luck.:chevy: MKOTZE
