I would like to buy a Vette, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money. I’m just looking for something that is a little more fun to drive then my Grand Prix (so I don’t think I want an automatic).
What year Vette would be the best value?
Thanks!!!

…I think I have it narrowed down to a C3 (68-82). But not and 82, those are only available in automatic, right?
Thanks!!

Welcome aboard South. The C3's are great Vettes. But, they're at their peak now, so you're going to have to spend more, opposed to buying a C4. The C4 has newer technology, better handling, and you can really get a new deal on one today. I don't know how much you plan on spending, but if you plan to spend between $15,000-$20,000, you can get yourself a low mileage C4, but on the other hand, a C3 in those numbers, would definitely need some work. Good luck and let us know when you find one.
