Annual N.E. Pa. Corvette Show sponsored by Fairway Chevrolet & The Hazleton Corvette Club. July 19th from 11 a.m til 4 p.m.

The show features the 50th Corvette Heritage Tour from G.M. There`s a possibility that the 2004 Commemorative Edition Corvette will be there for it`s 1st showing in the N.E. but G.M. won`t confirm it.:banghead:

Free admission, trophies, door prizes and food vendors.

Fairway is located on Rte. 309 N. in Hazleton Pa. accross from the Knotty Pines Restaurant. I know there are quite a few Pa. Corvette owners here so if you get a chance, come on down!

Firstly if you can`t make it for the show on Sat, the Heritage tour will be there Sunday also but I can`t guarantee any club members will be there.

Route 309 North or South of course depending on your location.

The Turnpike Ext. to Interstate 80 West. Take the 309 exit South. It used to be exit 39 I think. It`s the exit before the I80-81 interchange.

I81 to Hazleton rte. 93 exit. South to the 2nd traffic light. There`s a big Turkey Hill gas station and a motel on the left. Make a left and go past Wal Marts. At the end there`s a Sheetz gas station. That`s 309. Go right (south) and you`ll see Fairway about a mile down the road on the left.
I usually don`t have my cell phone on but I`ll keep it on for the show JIK. 570-956-0773. Ask for Gene. I have a TR `03 ZO6 with a DAV license plate.

We usually get 50-100 cars depending on the weather but we don`t get many online people there which is a shame. You come and go as you please. If you stay, you could win a trophy (big deal) but if you show up and then go on your way, that`s fine too.

Dash plaques, door prizes and a 50-50 drawing which averages around $400. :guiness:

Email me at Vettevet@webtv.net if you need more info.

Be there or be square!;bt

Larry, did you get my email from last week? Not important but it bounced twice.

The show is still a go, no raindate.

Well, you missed a good show. We had about 90 cars. Only 3 ZO6`s but nothing radical which is a shame.

GM had the engine display, a 53, a SCCA car, a C5R and a 2004 Commemorative convertible.

A lot of money changed hands as there are always cars for sale.

We get bigger every year so if the weather`s good next year there should be over 100 Vettes.

We usually sign up new members but I don`t know if we got any yet. I think we`re at 88.
