hello to all. I just came aboard this forum a few weeks ago. I've been reading and learning a lot from you guys so far. It's great.

I tried to attach my ' 87 pics to the thread. I hope it worked.

Great looking Vette. I heard things are really expensive in California. Nice to have you on board, it's a great forum.

Welcome to the forum. Tell us a little about your Vette and what made you buy a Corvette.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I appreciate it. I'm sure my story is as old as everyone's else. I saw my first 'vette' doing a summer job before going into the 11th grade. She was a red '71 or '72 coupe with the side exhaust. I fell in love and I knew I had to have one. Of course it got pushed back and back, school, junior college, the Marines, kids . . . . . . Finally the 'Corvette powers that be' gave me a break. This very nice lady in New York ( I was stationed there) ask me if I still wanted to buy her ' 87 a year after I ask her about it. Three weeks later I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Everything works but the air-condition unit. Even though I have had the car for two years, getting it fixed was never a priority. I drive it with the top off any way.

Talk to you guys soon.
