Blackwing Shroud

Has anyone use the Blackwing Shroud (part #21112) from SLP. Some say not to use for 2001 or newer. If you used it please let me know how it worked. Thanks

According to SLP Performance Parts, you can use it for 2001 or newer in conjunction with the 1997-2003 Blackwing cold air induction, part number 21110. May adversely affect idle on vehicles equipped with screenless MAFs.

What kind of driving are you going to do? I have never used the cold air induction, so I don't know how much of a gain in hp you will get from it. Depending on what kind of driving you are doing, you might just be better off going with a stock Z06 setup, and changing the MAF. Maybe someone else here has used the Blackwing and can give you more details on it. You might want to ask Carmen at Vette Doctors for more performance details.
