 Would like to get some feedback on what is the favorite or best buy for the money on air inductions or intake systems.
There are many out there and many differents systems. The one I am considering are the following, but if there are other good ones please let me know:
--Dual flow air intake system with the K&N filters.
--Vortex Ram Air Induction System
--Donaldson C5 Air Intake System
--Hurricane Air Intake Systems
I want something that works, gives great horsepower and will not require messing with the settings or computer. I am also concern with water getting into the system.
If they are other good systems please let me know.

Welcome aboard Abnsteel06vette!
If I were to do any changes, I would go with the Stage 1 Vortex Ram Air Intake. It's a great start, and includes Vortex Ram Air Intake, UCC Power Duct, 1000 CFM Mass Air Sensor, 178* Thermostat, Coolant Bypass Kit, Hypertech Power Programmer III, and Fuel Pressure Regulator. This starter kit will give up to 35 HP increase. Personally, I would just change the air cleaner intake box cover to the Z06 intake box cover, and then maybe go to a 1000 CFM mass air sensor. That would give you roughly 10 hp more, and you won't have to change the thermostat or make any other critical changes. Sometimes unless you go all the way, with the heads, exhaust, intake manifold, cam etc, you're really not accomplishing that much and won't really see a very big difference on a dyno. It's just like having a 350/350 hp engine, and removing the 400 CFM Rochester Carburetor and putting on a Holly 850 double pumper CFM carburetor. If your intake manifold isn't large engouh, if your cam isn't high, and your heads aren't ported and valves worked, then your just pumping in lots of gas and burning it out of the exhaust. Keep in mind that any changes you make should be calibrated to make your engine run efficiently. Thats why I feel if you're going to do it, then go with the Vortex Starter package. Just my opinion, but I feel that a lot of the stuff on the market today is hyped up to be more than it really is. Good luck, and let us know what you decide.

I haven't really compared the prices, however, West Coast Corvettes gives FatherLarry's Corvette Shop members a discount. If the customer rep isn't familiar with FLCS, then ask for the manager. Let me know how you make out. If you need more advice, I would call Vette Doctors and ask for Carmen. He should be able to lead you in the right direction. His number is 631 841-0779.
Let me know about your avatar as well.
