Hi folks,

1) Something I always was unsure of was whether it was OK to change from mineral oil to synthetic and then back to mineral? For whatever reason, I was under the impression that once you change to synthetic, you can't go back....

2) How are the '92 and newer vette engines broken in - with mineral oil or with synthetic oil? Again, if mineral oil was put into one at an oil change, is this a good, bad or neither?

Thanks,
Stitch

Absloutely no problem changing over or back on 92 or newer
engines. If you read some of the posts in this section, you may find some answers in previous posts. Bob Pache is busy with the Penske Racing Team and out on the road right now. He formulate the oil for them. Below is a post he answered to a previous question which was similar to yours.

Sorry I took so long to answer you. However, there is absloutely no problem changing over to Mobil 1. I would revcomend that you use the 10W-30 grade.

Bob
