Ordered the front and rear lettering from Mid America. The service was good, but the lettering that they sent was not one of the best products I've used for this particular type of lettering. This is only my opinion, of course.

Some of the lettering was not perforated all the way through, so you couldn't get it off the backing without using a razor blade and risking a tear.

I tried another lettering kit from Stoudts Corvette, because I ripped the C on the original I ordered trying to perforate it myself. I called Mid America and complained, and they said they would send me another set, free of charge. Had a show on Sunday, so I went to Stoudts in Reading, PA, and picked up their lettering which was by a different manufacturer, and it was great. It was pre-cut and peel off, and thinner, and much easier to apply. I felt that the finished product was much more professional looking.

We just picked up a set of Red letters for our Black 01, They almost feel like a plastic gel . They are reflective and look like a LED light. They fit flush so they won't get caught on your towel when you wax your baby. I had people come up and ask how did you wire that up ? They come in different colors but the price is a little steep, $59 bucks for the rear and a little less for the front.

vettebenny,

There are a lot of companies that put out a lot of different letterings and accessories. What may work for one, may not for another. Here's a link to West Coast Corvettes.

http://www.westcoastcorvette.com/

Stoudts Corvettes also sells them, but they don't have accessories shown on their website.

You can also go to car shows and see what others are using that may catch your eye on other C4's. Ask them about ease of installation, customer service they received etc. Good luck. Let's see some pics of your car.

Ok Mate.... Here's how to attach a file with a pic.

If you have a picture on you computer that you'd like to post, just post a reply, and when the screen comes up, scroll down below the smilies. You'll see a section for attachments. Just click on the browse button and you can browse your computer for the picture that you want to post. I would put your picture in the "my pictures" folder of your computer, so you can find it easily.

FL , your not the only person who has had that problem with MA. 3 people I know did them this winter , 2 had to replace their letter sets and the other said he was not happy and, was going to switch to the "brake light" lettering like Gerry's. I like the look of the "brake light" lettering , it looks like it came with the car, matches the brake lights... ;bt
