As far as I'm concerned, I don't like the front bumper. Looks like an Opel. And the side looks like a Mustang.

You guys sound like 1996 when the c-5 photos were comming out... seems like no one liked the c-5 till we got to see it in person. The front looks sort of like the Tiger Shark front end.

Good pictures. Are they for real? If they are for real, the side looks too square and the front looks more foreign than a Corvette look. The hatchback on the C5's, and I don't mean to hurt anyone's feelings, but I think it looks like a baseball cap, and on the C6 even more so. I think the hatchback style has been around too long and it's not necessary on a two seater sports car. Put it on the Caddy. I also prefer the hidden head lights. The front lights on the C6 make it look ordinary. It's like that commercial they have with all the box shape cars parked in the street. I guess everyone has seen that one. What I'm trying to say is I think the Corvette has it's own unique style and they shouldn't try to make it look more Euro.:chevy:

I agree with DavisZR1, it looks like a Mustang from the side. Anyway, I'm not impressed and won't be doing a trade in or anything.:smoke:

Welcome aboard bunyz06rabbitt!

If they do away with the hidden headlights, I'm not gonna like it at all! They say to move on to newer and better, but sometimes change is not always for the best. Believe or not, night time comes around, and I look forward to watching those headlights open up.

Thanks for joining and welcome aboard! Tell us a little bit about how it is to drive a Corvette in Hawaii. Must be some beautiful driving roads. Do you have many Corvette clubs? Share some experiences with us, and of course, pics.

Aloha

Well, the roads and highways here are very poor and crowded , extremely dangerous; lotta' accidents, must stay alert at all times. Nothing like driving from Albuqurque to Santa Fe as I remember when I was stationed there in the Air Force way back in '78. I live on the island of Oahu and it's just too damn crowded here and getting worse by the minute. But I still open 'er up when I can. Gotta watch out for cops too ya' know. Haven't joined any Corvette clubs but they're here, just too busy trying to make a living. Economy is in a depression here; put out countless resumes and applications, not even a single reply back. Union member too, (fire sprinkler fitter), but ain't doin' me a damn bit o' good. So I just freelance for now, (handyman), doin' better than working construction, always busy. I've got a digital camera and would love to share some pictures but don't know how to upload 'em.

I know what you mean about the economy. It is definitely an employers market.

Anyway if you want to upload some pics, all you have to do is post a new thread, and underneath the window that you are writing in, there is an option to attach a file. There's a small window with the word "browse" to the right. Hit browse, and then just locate your picture on your computer, usually you would save these in "my pictures". After you select the picture, the next window you get you will hit OK. You will be brought back to your post, then just hit submit. Only thing, you can only post one attachment at a time, so you would have to post more than one thread. Good luck. If you have any trouble, just email me your pics and I'll upload them for you. I'll email you my address.
