My buddy just got a lift in his new garage, So I will be doing mine. He also has a waste oil burner to..

I try & do as much as possible on em,just finished the door pins on both sides of the 78 & have to remove the rt side outer door handle & replace that.Did the entire exhaust,water pump& all the hoses on the 85,got to tackle the digital dash also"bad ground" Funny how i always wind up with a lot of extra parts tho!!!:lol:

At least you try. Seems like you're pretty handy. As far as the extra parts, you probably didn't need them anyway, and the car will ultimately be lighter:lol:

Doing anything on the Vette, puts me in another world. Takes me away from the everyday turmoil. I don't know why....it's like therapy and I'm not the only one that feels that way. :shift: ;bt

Being I don't have a lift, and the dealer I go to gives me a good deal on Synthetic Mobil 1, I go there to have it changed. This way I can get underneath with the mechanic to see if everything is good which makes it easier for the inspection every year.

By changing my own oil and filter, I know what brand, weight, and the anount that is being put in. I don't like anyone touching my cars.
