LT4 vs Hardtop wheelspin.

Father-I had an LT4 and the hardtop has much more power, but it seems as if when the LT4 came out of the hole it didn't spin the tires and there was hardly any wheel hop. I have the Z51 suspension that is standard with the hardtop, and I know I have more power with my hardtop, but why does the LT4 grip better?

The main issue that I've seen with the C5's and the problem you're describing are the runflats. The sidewalls are very stiff and through my own experience and others what you're experiencing is "wheel hop" problems, which occur both in dry wheel conditions and in some cases agressive cornering. Any suspension is only as good as it's weakest part, and in this case it's most likely the tires.:smoke:
