99 Hardtop

Definitely model year 1999. VIN #0001, red/black 1999 Hardtop on permanent display in the NCM. And so are VIN #1's of the 1997 (Coupe) and 1998 (Convertible). VIN #01 2001 is a red/black Z06 which was auctioned off as a NCM benefit and now belongs in Bob McDorman's personal collection. It too will be displayed together with the other 49 Corvettes representing "50 Years Historical Evolution of Corvette" in the NCM for this coming June's 50th Celebration.


#00001 Hardtop is the only production C5 with a cloth interior .

I drop in once in awhile Larry and I are old Hardtop buddies.
I have owned a Black '99, Red '00, NB '00 (1 of 189) and still own a '01 Z06 Hardtop.
