Hi Mike, Happy New Year.
My back up lights don't work. Is it a big job to replace the switch, if it is that? Is it the same principal as on the C3's?:chevy:

If it is the switch, the switch is located on the right hand side of the transmission. You can Loosen it with a wrench and then it will unscrew the rest of the way. Before replacing the switch you should first check the fuse. Which is fuse #21 located in the instrument panel electrical center, located on the right hand foot well, behind the carpet. There is also a relay in the circuit, mounted in the underhood electrical center, which is in front of the battery on the right hand side. It is relay #38.However, I would recommend first to check the fuse then check the actual bulbs as both could have gone bad at the same time. It is also easier than testing or replacing the switch and the relay. Obviously, if the bulbs are good proceed to check the switch. The easiest way to check the switch is to disconnect the plug and jumper the two wires together if it works then the switch is bad,if it does not work proceed to check the relay. Good Luck. :chevy: MKOTZE
