Smell Oil ?

I have a 2001 I just got in Sept. and when I come to a stop sometimes I smell oil burning. I have a clean garage floor with no oil spots and can't find anything under the hood .I put about 2500 miles on since I bought the car and just added a quart of oil. Guess I'll bring it to Outten for my oil change before the snow flys.... Driving me NUTS..:chevy:

Driving me NUTS..:chevy: Hi Gerry, I apologize for the wait but you were right I've been busy and then besides the holiday my oldest daughter had her birthday too! Okay as for the oil smell it is really difficult to diagnose the cause without physically seeing the car. Especially if there are no leaks visible. It is possible that there is a small leak that is burning off which would explain the smell and the fact that you don't see anything. If you do call Outten for an appointment and you want me to work on it you would need to request that Mike work on it. It's up to you. Good luck.:chevy: MKOTZE

We missed you both @ Longwood Gardens !! It was really cold outside, then really warm inside with all the flowers and plants. Good way to get sick. We might try again for a Vette trip in the spring !!:chevy: :wave:
