Just bought my 1972 LT1. Looked around at sites and saw this one. Read some other posts and the answers that some of the tech people gave sold me. I'm sure I'm gonna have some questions down the line. I know my first question will be that my air conditioning doesn't work. I got the car from the original owner. It's got 60K miles, and we love it. I feel twenty yrs younger.

Enjoy! You only go around once! Glad to have you join us.
I believe the last year for the LT1 was 1972 in the C3 body style. The horsepower was drastically reduced because of emission control. '72 LT1 was the only year, I believe, was the only year with air conditioning. I think if you go to fatherlarrys history section on his site, it might tell you.

Thank you all for the welcome. I know I'm going to enjoy this Vette. I wonder what the gas mileage will be on it.
