I copied this from the CCDV forum...written and posted by Dennis Trayes. Run is October 13, 2002. Here's the link to there forum if you need further information http://ccdv.com/forum/index.php?
The Hot Dog Run is something I started about 25 years ago. It was just an excuse to take a ride together and see the scenery. Next to the Cavalcade it is the longest running annual event the club does. We travel north above Easton and drive around back roads. This is the area that my wife and I grew up. Everybody gets a set of directions incase you temporarily loose site of the car in front. It started with 5 cars and last year we had 84 Corvettes. If you have a family and you can't fit them all in your 'vette, bring your family car. Doesn't matter what you drive. Half way through we stop for hot dogs. It's about 100 miles round trip and takes 4-5 hours.
