I never thought about it but they threw a set of wheels, did a valve job, ported the heads a little better, different air intake box, different valves and pushrods, raised the compression a little and changed the exhaust, tweeked the suspension. Years ago we used to do that to all our Vettes and pony cars, and we could still do it if you know the right machine shop and can get it done at the right price. Voila you'll have a Z06 for thousands less, and you know it didn't cost GM $10,000 more in parts. I would think it would cost more to make the ribs for the convertible top or specifics for the coupe.
