While on vacation my younger sister was sitting in the passenger seat. She tried to put the window down to talk to her husband. The window would not move using either right or left control switch. I checked the DIC for any codes, there weren't any. I checked to see what codes should have been set by the RDCM. B2205 for the right window down switch or B2275 right window motor fault. I could hear the moter "click" when I pushed either side down button. That told me that the switches were working. The motor was drawing some current but not enough to set the fault code. I then pushed down on the window as I was holding the switch. The window freed up and has been working ever since.
Just thought I would pass this on, sometime no fault code can help as much as a fault code.

Hi JimDianne,

I had trouble with my windows once also. I brought it in to have the steering column checked and when I picked it up from the dealer and brought it home. The next day when I went to put the passenger side window down it wouldn't go down it one shot like it usually does, so I had to hold the button down to get it to go all the way down. I finally got my shop manual out and read that I had to hit the drivers window switch twice to reset the program. Then it worked. Where I live I am near salt water and sometimes my windows won't go down in the morning. You could actually see the draw on the lights, that the motor is drawing power, because the lights would dim. If I pushed on the window the motor would engage. Living near the salt water makes everything crystalize from the salt air. I wonder what it does to computers. We'll soon see.
