I'm the second owner of this car and I used to belong to the ZR1 Registry. It was really nice when Larry Merrow had it. Since the ZR1 registry dissolved it seems that things have changed. And, to me, not really for the best. As far as belonging to other forums, I am a member of a few. I saw this one on the ZR1Net. Then there was another site with a section for ZR1's, but all they did was bicker amongst themselves. Not into the childish and petty stuff. I think all Corvettes are nice. Hope to make some friends here.

Hey, another ZR1 member:clap: :luxhello:
Where did you buy your Z and was it private or dealer? How long do you have it? Not too many ZR1 people on here and noboby really seems to talk too much, but as far as information on mechanics, body work, detailing and Mobil oil, its a great place for finding things out. Nobody seems to really bicker here either, since FatherLarry doesn't stand for it. All kidding aside, everyone is really polite here and treats each other with respect, so you don't have to worry about smart asses. It seems that the smart asses can't handle any criticism from the moderators, so we'll wind up with a pretty adult crowd here eventually.
Do you ever come down to any of the shows on Long Island?

Welcome simplyZR1,
I'm really not that bad. My wife and visit Boston pretty frequently. Have some family there. Great place! Very expensive to live there though.
DavisZR1 likes to rib a little, but he's a great guy and a great auto body technician.

simplyzr1;those of us in the LT5 Registry might disagree with you about things being worse. We're trying to make a difference for ZR-1 owners. :wavey:

I like the way the people here interact with each other. You have ZR1 owners, C4, C5, C3 owners. Each one states their opinion and welcomes one another. Let's face it we're all Corvette enthusiasts and we are all Corvette owners. Sometimes separation makes for confusion and confusion can separate.
And, hey USA ZR1, I know you're habit is the C F, but try to make this your habit also. This forum has a nice personal touch to it. It's not the quantity of posts, but the quality and the good information.
I know ZR1 owners are proud of their Z's, including myself, but it's time everyone has to start learning to group together, and realize that we're all in it for the same enjoyment.
