Bob,
I have a friend who has a 1969 350/350 Corvette. He has very low mileage on it. I would guess he has about 24,000 miles on it, and he was told not to switch over to synthetic oil because it would create a gunk like texture to the oil. Is this true? Or could he switch over safely to a synthetic. If so, does he have to flush the old system out somehow. Could he just drain it and start using Mobil 1, or should he just stay with the regular oil, or is the synthetic only for newly designed engines. Thanks Bob.:smoke:
