Was wondering if they recycle synthetic oil? I bring my old oil to a local garage. I guess they don't know if its regular or synthetic.

I was reading the other answers to the questions by other members. Really good info. Hope you stay around. I know father larry and his wife worked hard on this site and always tries to put together the best people for his members. He definitely succeeded with you. Thanks Bob.

Mobil 1 is completely compatable with conventional mineral based oil and poses no problem in rergards to recycling. It is all a matter of molecular distribution and types. Synthetics are specific and man made whereas mineral oils have a multitude of naturally occuring structures.

So what you're saying is to treat it the same as regular oil when disposing of it. Thanks Bob.
