ez68Vet,

You might want to post on Corvette Kotze's forum here. He's in PA also. He answered my questions right on. And, from reading other posts where members had questions, he's seems quite knowledgable. I would also email him. He might be able to help you out.

Yes, you might definitely want to contact Mike. He is an excellent mechanic and a specialist in Corvettes. I am retired from auto body work and I feel I have enough knowledge and experience to recognize a qualified, class A man. His garage is meticulous, and the way he handles customers Vettes goes without saying. Every part he removes is sandblasted or cleaned or repainted if needed. He is computer literate on the C5's. He's around 50 yrs old and loves his job. Email him. If I would trust anyone with my Vette and my pocket it would be Mike. He is the most honest person I have met.

I will also put your post in the "technical assistance" forum. So check there also.

I have found a mechanic, thank you, and Mike, thank you. I may end up there some day, but you are a little to far for me. It's about an hour drive each way, thank you for the offer, and all. In fact I found two with "old time" mechanics! One in Middletown, Pa. who has a "67 BB & a '70 super low miler! Does some, not a lot of Vet work, but I knew him way back in the '70"s when we were in the Central Penn Corvette Club together. We are going to give him a try tomorrow. Thanks again to all.
