Living in the Motor City region I can tell you it's more than a little depressing around here. I'm not sure if bankruptcy is the answer (would you buy a car from a bankrupt company?) or a merger with Chrysler. I can't imagine any one of the big three going away, but it seems like a real possibility now. :mad: :yikes: :eek:

Sorry for the delay in answering you. I feel the same way you do. We used to show our strength by the automobiles that we built in America, and now their trying to squeeze us into little compact cars like the countries overseas. Let's hope GM and Ford will stay American, especially if there is a crisis in the US and we need these companies to build our defense. :dunno:
Our guys really built some great products and we can do it again, but it seems like corporate is finding an excuse to bow out and have other companies come here to build plants for their own products. Just think about it. They'll be paying taxes, employing people at lower wages without the unions involved, so they'll be profiting from the sweat of the people's back.
