Hopefully, this to shall pass. I remember the 70's when corvette was threatened because of the gas crunch. The economy will turn around and soon they won't be able to keep up with demand. (Fingers crossed)

Soon as GM gets the financial aid from the gov't, they'll pay off all the workers on their way out, $110k for each worker, which is really not enough for people that have been there for over 20 yrs. that's the only reason they want the bailout money. Why don't they use the money their using to build a Russian plant to help here, instead of borrowing from the taxpayers? their trying to destroy the unions here in the US, everything that our forefathers fought for and make the people come to their knees like they did during the depression, so we can work like the Chinese laborers overseas. we used to be strong. our people worked the least hours, had time with their families, got good benefits and were able to go to a movie once in a while and support a house. but this administration has brought us to our knees and this younger generation is too naive to see it. :usaribbon :yikes: :nono: :nod:
