Hi everyone in the NJ/PA area. How about putting this local event on your calendar.

This will be my first group event this year. Many of you remember the great time we had last year on our Atlantic City Run.

This year we will go to Eorio's Deli & Bakery in Pipersville PA (about 10 miles from New Hope) for a day of driving our Corvettes, showing our Corvettes, talking about Corvettes and eating. John and Susan Eorio are C5Registry members as well as the NCM and the Liberty Corvette Club. They own a bunch of Corvettes and share our passion for our cars. Their son, John Jr is the baker and I can attest that he makes a great loaf of bread. The pizza's and other goodies are also top notch.

On June 9th (rain date June 23rd) they will host their 2nd Annual Corvette Show with awards for the oldies and fun for all of us. The show will form up around 10:30 AM and end at 3:45PM. Vendors are invited and you may just find that thing you always wanted but didn't know it existed. Then we will take a cruise to John and Susan's house for all you can eat BBQ. The cost to enter the show is $5 and the BBQ is $5 per person!! Don't ask me how they do it for that price. There will be People's Choice Awards, 15 trophies awarded, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes every 30 minutes, music and more!

Barbara and I drove a route (or two) to get there and will have trip sheets prepared well in advance. We will meet on Route 27 in Kendall Park at 9:00 AM and caravan through Rocky Hill, Hopewell, Lambertville and Stockton before we cross the river into PA. We will designate a few places you can join us if you don't want to come up to Kendall Park (near New Brunswick).

Let me know as soon as possible if you will join us. Advance registration is required. John expects a big crowd and I would like to let him know how many we will be so we can all park together. I will send additional details to all who respond to this e-mail.

My second event will be the Corvette Day at Englishtown Raceway Park on July 27. We had a small contingent last year but we had a great time and met some new faces and made some new friends. See you there also.

I was there last year and it was a great day food was great and so were the people. I know john and I get food there all the time. There were over 100 vettes there last year. The BBQ was good too. He has a cruise night one night a month on friday nights he gets about 60 to 70 cars. I think the first night is May 24th. You will see my vette there.:wavey:

When you say oldies, is this show just for older cars or can a C4 get in? Sounds like a nice deal to me, if a 95 can be considered an oldie.

Hey FinWolf - we were just talking about this event at the Rosemore! I was hoping to take both Vettes tonite, but Lissa wasn't up to driving. She probably won't drive to this either because of the cruise to John and Susan's afterwards - she's always afraid she can't keep up with the guys and doesn't want to slow anyone down. But we'll both be there, probably in the ZR-1.

The judging is for 53 to 82 cars only but the show field is open to all. There are only 15 trophies so it is not possible to satisfy all the classes that would be required to judge all years. We are going to have a fun day with other Corvetter's and not worry about all the cleaning and dusting.

Send me a private e-mail if you want to be a part of my group. We will all park together and get to know each other and enjoy the day.

Paul,

This sounds great for all my members, but you didn't put your email address so members can get in touch with you. You chose not to have emails through the forum, so you may want to change your profile to do so now. You could always change it back.
