Hi everyone in the NJ/PA area. How about putting this local event on your calendar.
This will be my first group event this year. Many of you remember the great time we had last year on our Atlantic City Run.
This year we will go to Eorio's Deli & Bakery in Pipersville PA (about 10 miles from New Hope) for a day of driving our Corvettes, showing our Corvettes, talking about Corvettes and eating. John and Susan Eorio are C5Registry members as well as the NCM and the Liberty Corvette Club. They own a bunch of Corvettes and share our passion for our cars. Their son, John Jr is the baker and I can attest that he makes a great loaf of bread. The pizza's and other goodies are also top notch.
On June 9th (rain date June 23rd) they will host their 2nd Annual Corvette Show with awards for the oldies and fun for all of us. The show will form up around 10:30 AM and end at 3:45PM. Vendors are invited and you may just find that thing you always wanted but didn't know it existed. Then we will take a cruise to John and Susan's house for all you can eat BBQ. The cost to enter the show is $5 and the BBQ is $5 per person!! Don't ask me how they do it for that price. There will be People's Choice Awards, 15 trophies awarded, a 50/50 drawing, door prizes every 30 minutes, music and more!
Barbara and I drove a route (or two) to get there and will have trip sheets prepared well in advance. We will meet on Route 27 in Kendall Park at 9:00 AM and caravan through Rocky Hill, Hopewell, Lambertville and Stockton before we cross the river into PA. We will designate a few places you can join us if you don't want to come up to Kendall Park (near New Brunswick).
Let me know as soon as possible if you will join us. Advance registration is required. John expects a big crowd and I would like to let him know how many we will be so we can all park together. I will send additional details to all who respond to this e-mail.
My second event will be the Corvette Day at Englishtown Raceway Park on July 27. We had a small contingent last year but we had a great time and met some new faces and made some new friends. See you there also.
