Well I am rookie not only to this site but message boards in general. I hope someone out there can help me out. I have a 99' convertible. The climate control display is very dim. It is very difficult to see during daytime and impossible with sunglasses on. Has anyone had this problem? Any tips on fixing it?

Welcome aboard.

The climate control head has a bulb in it. It's an easy fix. You have to take the front trim panel off that covers the radio and the climate control. It's part of the console where the shift lever is. I don't know if you have an automatic or standard. I don't know how handy you are either. If you feel it's something that you can tackle, go for it. If not, then bring it to the dealer. It may cost you $175 to $200 just to replace some bulbs. Let me know how you make out.
