What would Henry Ford II do?
Henry Ford II would be perplexed -- and angry. But I don't know whether he would be more upset about the success of Japanese automakers … or the way his own company is being managed. The news that Ford Motor Co. was outsold by Toyota Motor Corp. in the United States last month would have hit him hard. ...

We can't win.

Because, we are a capitalistic society.. And, we can't compete with the foreign car market. In Japan the salaries are lower, and when they retire from the company the government funds their retirement. They don't have to deal with unions and their economic structure is based on products that last, not like us where we are a throw away society.

Also, they cater to their workers and take the emploee's opinions and input and utilize it in their products
