SSR is all of those and, if GM played its cards right, a home run product, too.
Lately, other than the Corvette (especially the Z06), Chevrolet hasn’t had many products for hardcore enthusiasts that were homeruns. You have to go back to the early-’90s and the 454SS pickup and the Impala SS sedan to find recent examples. Early in 2003, that’s going to change when the SSR comes to a Chevrolet dealer near you
