What does your vanity plate say?

My 2000 Hardtop has the Vermont vanity plate of:


HARDTOP


No problem with people confusing mine with a coupe!

It also starts up discussions with "What does Hardtop mean?"

Great opportunity to educate the person on the different C5s.

Hello all you lucky hardtop owners. My nick name is Red Dog and my California plate says "4REDDOG" It is a Torch Red 99 and I was fortunate to be able to purchase it new. FRC didn't seem to photograph well and I was shopping for a convertable when I saw the "ugly one" on the lot. It called my name and took me home. Three years later still perfect! Have not taken it in for steering lock recall. Should I?? I also purchased the last hard top new. A yellow 67 - 435HP fastback with black stinger. Just joined Father's new "church" Bye for now.

I know what you mean, Red Dog. When my wife and I saw the hardtop for the first time it just took me back to my first ride in a 1963 split window coupe. That's 38 years ago! Please register your '67 on the registry for the hardtop fastbacks. Great to have you aboard. Maybe you can help me decide on a name for my vanity plate. James Outten is looking out for a nice Z06 for me so I'm waiting on that. Can't get rid of the Corvette fever.

:LOL: The vanity plate on our 1999 hardtop reads YEAR 1 This too starts everyone to ask what it stands for. And of course eververyone that matter knows it stands for the FIRST YEAR of the HARDTOP.

Then the vanity plate on our 1986 reads I HAVE 2 so when they ask what the other one is I still get to talk about our HARDTOP see a NO BRAINER When you own the best it's ok to brag

I have a 98 Torch Red C5 coupe with Z06 chrome wheels, Andy Green exhaust, and Z06 screens.
Have you ever noticed that want-a-be mussle cars will pace you on the freeway and zig-zag in and out of traffic to keep up. This is fun!
