Hi! Name is Jim and have been a member for about two weeks. Great forum, lots of good information for both novices and old-timers alike. Here is my new toy........'79 L82, pretty much loaded, glass tops, automatic, and 30000 miles. First-timer owner, I'm 58 and have been wanting a Vette since I was 14. Now that I'm finally all grown-up, I decided to get one. There really is something about driving a Vette. The looks, the smiles, it's just a neat feeling.

Here is a pic of my 72 Coupe. The color is from the Honda S2000 Yellow Metalic Pearl w/ Black leather interior.
Right now i have a 1968 327 engine, with TH400 trans, 3:73 rear posi, most of the engine components are from a 350 LT1 engine backed up with the 2 1/2 inch exhaust and ceramic Hedman headers. I located a SBC from a 72 Chevy that i am in the middle of rebuilding and i hope to have it installed this spring, just trying to keep the year engine in line with the year of the car.

I always wanted a C3 and ran across this beauty about a month ago. It has 49k miles and is all original. Everything works too! Interior is original and perfect and the paint is original as well.
