First of all, I am a new member and proud owner of a newly-acquired '79 L82. Will post pictures soon! I have a question about the VIN number found of the windshield post. Both the post and the title state "!Z8749S434430". I have found two web sites that say, for my coupe, is should be 1Z37........ Does anyone know why mine says "8"? I did a search to see if this has come up before, but didn't find anything. Thanks!
