I've checked Edmunds and NADA, but cannot find the value for a 1974 vette,
re-worked, matching numbers, 122,000 miles, but needs a little work; ie, air conditioned redone and there is an oil leak and probably a new paint job. It is pearl white and is out-of-state with original license plate
. He wan'ts to trade me plus some cash for my C-4. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

Get "Old Car Price Guide". That will give you a general idea of the price of your car, as well as, the car you are trading for. You can find this book at any major book store.

This is a decision that can't be done over the internet. Even looking at pictures on the internet, or through email, will not show you every detail that you need to know. If I was you and you're seriously considering doing the trade, hire a professional in your area to give you an appraisal on your car and the '74. Sometimes spending a little money, can save you a bunch in the end. Sometimes a body shop is your best bet. Not only can they pick out mechanical flaws, but they can evaluate the whole situation. Good luck, and sorry I can't help you more.
