Does anyone have a preference of oil for a 1976 L-82? Need to know. Nothing but the best for my baby. Thanks all.:banghead:

120,000 miles. I didn't think the milage would make that much of a difference. Well it goes to show that "you learn something new everyday".:usaribbon

Welcome to the shark infested waters chefunderdog. Just use a good quality 10w30 and a good filter (no bargain basement stuff) and you'll be fine. Those so called higher mileage oils are just a little thicker viscosity to help stop seepage around seals and rings. Use them if you want, but if you have no oil control problems now, why mess with a good thing.
