View Full Version : Any Callaways Out There?
Just seeing if there are any Callaway owners on this site.
I own a 1996 Callaway SuperNatural Grand Sport which was the 1st Grand Sport that was built by Callaway. It has the full Callaway performance package and has other upgrades including brake system by Baer Brakes and suspension by Guldstrand Motorsports.
There is going to be a Callaway Reunion at Corvettes @ Carlisle this year and Callaway owners from across the country will be attending.

You're the first Callaway here. Do you have some pictures for us? Would love to see them. Also, tell your fellow Callaway friends that we have a section here, and maybe we can start a registry on this site for them. Nice to have you on board.

Glad to be here. Looks like this will be a great forum. I have tons of pictures, but at this time I have no way of posting them.
Hopefully I will be able to in the near future or I might be able to find some one to post for me.
I found out about this forum thru a e-mail you sent to the Corvette Club I belong to: Central Pennsylvania Corvette Club. I will pass the info about the forum on to the other Callaway owners I "speak" with on other sites. :wavey:

Thanks so much! The site means a lot us, and it's in its infancy stages. I guess it will take time. The Callaway is an exceptional Corvette, and I am sure you are proud that you own one. Thanks for the help. Maybe I can come down to one of your club meetings, and talk about the forum. Let me know. I can add a category for your club where they can converse with each other.

Sounds great! I will bring this up at our next meeting which is April 8th and get back to you. I'm just speaking for myself at the moment but I'm sure the Club would be receptive to you coming to a future meeting.
By the way, do you know of any shops in the Central Pa area that have a chassis dyno? I'm curious to see what I'm at. When Callaway dynoed the engine, freshly completed with no miles on it, it registered 450/450. Now that it is "broke" in and with some other engine mods since Callaway, I'm interested to see were I'm at.

Hey Callaway guys - have you been told you would have space reserved at Carlisle yet, and if so, where? I am wondering if you will be parking together near the grandstand, where the ZR-1 reunion was held last year.
The Reunion is a definite go, as it's already noted in the printed brochures that Carlisle Productions puts out. Where the actual parking area for the Callaway Reunion will be don't know at this time

LOVE IT!!!!!! Your car is beautiful. I think the G/S stripe down the center looks great. I have been thinking about that for a while now. I looked at having it done in blue.
pS my hash marks don't add HP but they make the car look faster:lol: :D

Very nice Callaway! BTW, what kind of floor is that in your garage. Looks great! What does it cost to do something like that. I've been wanting to put down a checkered floor in my garage.
You guys have two great looking hardtops!

Mike the floor look great, do you have to allow the tires to cool down before you put the car in the garage or does the adhesive hold up or rather hold down ...

No, so far so good,it seems to be holding up well but you must let the adhesive setup for 1week,I also sealed the cement floor with a sealer,Mike
