Marilyn Gredlics, 56, of New Tripoli, formerly of Allentown, died Saturday, August 6, 2005, in the V.N.A. Hospice at St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, after a courageous battle against cancer. She was born and raised in Hamburg, the daughter of the late Edward and Cis (Bainbridge) Freudenberger. Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years, Robert, daughters, Melissa A., wife of Jonathan McCaverty of El Segundo, Calif., and Michelle L., wife of Jason Kovac of Blacksburg, Va., as well as by her brother, Mark Freudenberger, husband of Rosalie of Lake Ashton, Fla. She was the administrative assistant to the distribution manager and worked for Kraft Foods for 33 years. Marilyn and her husband owned and operated Vette Finders, a business that located Corvettes. Marilyn was a lifetime member of the Allentown Corvette Club, where she served as president for several terms and was presently serving as vice president. She was a member of the National Corvette Restorers Society, NCCC, and the Antique Auto Club of America. Marilyn was an honorary Hokie; she was a very loyal Virginia Tech football fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Marilyn was a devoted wife, loving mother and caring daughter. Marilyn will forever be remembered as being completely dedicated to others. Services: a visitation will be held in Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, today, August 8, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, from 10 to 11 a.m. A Celebration of Marilyns life will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, at 11 a.m. Contributions: Memorial contributions may be made to the V.N.A.
