Purchasing a 1980 82

I am about to purchas a 1980 L82 vette in what appears to be restored condition for $7600. The owner has all paperwork and receipts for engine, trans, and interior upgrades. The engine and trans have 3000 mile since rebuild. The car looks fantastic and runs great. What should I look for before making this purchase. Don't what to buy a problem.

It sounds like you stumbled upon a pretty good deal, if all the paperwork is legitimate. If it's from a reliable shop, you should be ok. You didn't mention how many miles are on it. Keep in mind though, that with older cars like this, you should expect a few problems down the road. Congrats on the purchase!
