How to solve a rusty frame problem

I decided to repair the frame on my 1980 since the body mounts were no longer attached to the the car. the frame on the driver side is bad shape so I ask anyone how or what should I do to tackle my frame's condition. I fear that I may have bit off more than I can chew. any advice will be helpful.
