I am still looking for a ZR-1. I am still learning about the different model years, and colors. I am very satisfied about the performance on this car, as it seems so much more techinical than the older vettes. I had soild axel 62 vette and a new 1966 350 hp coupe, and a new 1978 L-82. The different power, and interior of the old ones I knew like the back of my hand. I am still learning about the new ones. I had corvettes since 1962 until 1986. I was not happy with the performace with the 78, so I sold it with 25M on it, anyway I appreciate all the help on the form for input. The one question I have is about the seats on the different model years, the 91 that I drove seem have a hard time getting into the seats. Are they all the same for each year?
Thanks for any input. Larry

Larry,

The ZR1 from 1990-1993 had different seats. They were a little more firmer and kept you in the driver's seat a little tighter. In 1994 they changed over to a more open style seat which was more comfortable to sit in, as well as, to get in and out of, and it wasn't just on the ZR1's but on all the later C4's.

If you're looking for a ZR1, on my home page you'll find the ZR1.net link. If you have any questions, pertaining to anything on the ZR1, Dave Bright, a good friend of mine, is the ZR1 Guru and should be able to help. They even have ZR1 classifieds on the site.

Good luck in your search and let us know how you make out.
