I'm looking to touch up my OEM wheels to cover up certain areas like light scuffs and wheel weights. Would anyone know the paint code for a matching silver paint????

Welcome aboard George.

I also had a 1999. It was a hardtop in Black, with the Silver powder coated wheels. GM does have a color code for them, but they do not have touch up paint or spray can for that color. What I ended up doing is going to Allentown to the body shop supply store. I'm sure you probably know where it is since you're from Macungie. It's off of Tilghman st about two or three blocks from Outten Chevrolet. I can't think of the name of the place right now.

I brought in the center lug cap and they matched it by computer. They set me up with an aerosal spray can for the matched color and also a can of clear coat spray.

I washed the rims down good, and scuffed the areas down very lightly with 1200 and 1500 wet sand paper so as not to go into the factory prime. Then I sprayed a light coat of gray primer and then the silver, waiting for it to dry between each coat until completed. Then I went over the entire wheel with the clearcoat.

They will also make you a touch up bottle if you need. There are a lot of silvers out there that you can get at AutoZone, Pep Boys or Walmart, but it's very hard to match it.
Also, try calling Jeff, parts mgr at Chevy 21. Tell him FatherLarry sent you. He may be able to guide you in the right direction, and maybe get the color from one of his suppliers that do his wheels.

Good luck and let us know how you make out.
