I have a 1979 Corvette which I have started research on and come to find out that many of the options are rare. The color which is Frost Beige, the fiberglass tops, the 4 spd, the aluminum wheels, the three rear compartments, and the L-82 option. I found that one reason why it is rare is because Corvettes so optioned were not sold in California. I also can not find the color on any web page except on the GM paint chip color page for this particular year. I am a member of Corvette club and everyone told us not to change the color because they have never seen one like it. How many other Corvettes have you seen with these options?:D

My '80 is frost beige, a 4 speed, and glass tops, and I wouldn't change a thing. Don't change the color unless you really have your heart set on doing it. Frost beige cars are rare indeed. ;bt

Yes, Frost Beige was a color on 1979 Corvettes. Look at this this. It is from GM's paint chip archives. Cor is short for Corvette.
