Father Larry,
I am working on a 1963 Vette with Drum Brakes all the way around. I replaced the master cylinder and all four wheel cylinders, replaced the shoes, as well as all the springs and hardware. I took the car out for a road test and the braking improved about 90%; yet i am now getting the left rear wheel locking up when I stomp on the brake pedal. I loosened up the adjusting wheel, thinking maybe I adjusted the brakes too much. This only made for a longer stopping distance with the wheel still locking up. Any ideas here? I am planning on going back to bleed the brakes again. Just wanted to know if you could help cut down my troubleshooting tasks.
Another issue I have with the same car is the gas gage not working. I replaced the sending unit in the tank and still the gage remains on Full. Any thoughts?
