Need help with my new 02 Z06

Hi all,
I just bought an 02 Z06 and had a few questions. When I am sitting at idle and give a rev, when the RPMs come back down around 3000 to 2000 I hear slight rattle in what appears to be the exhaust,like around the CAT. Its not real noticable and you have to listen for it but I wanted to see if this is normal or if I should take it to the dealer to look at it. Its still under warranty.

Welcome aboard! I too have a Z06. It's a characteristic for all the years 2001-2004. People have changed the crossover pipe to an aftermarket, and said they had good results with that getting rid of the noise. Some do the full exhaust, and have the same results. I have the stock and have the same problem. It's a design defect which I can live with. Other than that, enjoy your Z. I am looking forward to purchasing the new '06 Z. They say it's going to be awesome. P.S. Make sure you have the repair pump in the back. It's on the passenger side in the rear compartment near the rear bumper. They're pretty expensive. The Z's do not have run flats which I'm sure you're aware of.:wavey: :usaribbon :shift:
