Father Larry, can I use a later year frame-70 to 80, to replace my very rusty 65 convertable frame? If so what modifications must be made? Thank you . Ron Fosso

Ronald,
There are some modifications done from the factory on the C3 frame, opposed to the C2. On various years the front goose necks are different, body mount brackets are different , some cross members are different, just to list a few. I will try to check some of the body shop manuals for frames that I used for straightening frames on the ez-liner and carolina frame machines and maybe I can come up with a better answer. I have never looked into swapping frames from a C3 to a C2. You can also go to a Corvette body shop that does extensive restorations and restores on Corvettes. They may know some tricks. Or call, Just Corvettes and ask for Zach. Tell him FatherLarry sent you. The link is on my homepage. He would have a cross reference to see which frame is closer in a C3, and may have one in stock for you. Or, he may have one from a C2. I realize the rarity of the C2 parts availability and your question is a legitimate one. I'm sure we'll get an answer. Let us know your progress.;bt

Since it won't be NCRS material any more, why not consider one of the new tube frames that accept C4 or C5 suspension, brakes, etc.? Should make for a nicer driving and more easily maintained vehicle.
