Dim dash lights

No electrical problems to note other than very dim dash lights. Head and tail lights are nice and bright - interior lights also bright. Any ideas? - they've been dim in the 5 years I've owned the car.

Sorry this one slipped by.

Let me ask you, on the cluster itself, is one side of the cluster dull and the other side bright? If so, then it would eliminate the cause as being the switch. If not, here's some reasons for the problem.

1) Bad reastate in switch causing a bad ground
2) Bad ground
3) Old bulbs-(air gets into bulb sometimes and darkens the
cluster)
4) Could be a bad circuit board behind the cluster
