Sounds like he is still pissed they lost the war... Some of the British junk that came to this country doesn't give them much room to talk. As for the 911, just an expensive VW.. :usaribbon :usaribbon So much for my two cents.

Father,
These two limeys belong with those girly boys that Swartzenager referred to in one of his speeches. He didn't even have enough strength to shift a Corvette, when our American women do a hell of a good job with it. Talking about the quality of how our Vette is made. These rice burners and Porshe's are made like tin cans. An old VW is stronger than today's Porshe. It has no chassis like the Corvette, and the Porshe 911 looks like a bug. Did you ever see how long the leather in a Porshe lasts? Forget about it! And they still use Balsa wood. Talk about primitive. We can send a man to the moon because our technology is advanced and we use plastics in our automobiles for weight, longevity, price and easy repair. So whose behind the times there? Porshe's are for Yuppies that sit behind a desk all day, and believe everything they read, and try to impress their neighbors who own Corvettes that they have more money. What a joke. :Puke:

:luxhello: Great job Davis I feel better now... Glad I'm not the only one that they got to. They should stick to selling Kitchen Junk on TV. ;bt

It almost started off as if they were going to say positive things about the car, then they sneakily started bashing it. My neighbor has a Porsche 911 turbo. He's always at the dealership for service. Plus it's such a small car, and it doesn't give you a feel that the Corvette gives you. They're jealous because the Corvette has a feel that no other two seater can give you.

I owned a Porsche 911 once, and traded it in for my ZR1. All I can say is that I'm glad I did.
I agree with the yuppy market for the Porsche. I don't think the Brits even know how to evaluate a car. I guess because they always live in a fog.
