Hey guys,

I'm still having trouble finding out the original interior color for my 58. I found this online and wonder if you guys know if this is true "1958 Interior Colors were Charcoal, Red, and Beige." Is that it? The interior now is blue, perhaps turquoise (it's faded). I've attached a photo of the interior as is. I want to resotre it to original but no one has been able to tell me what color to use....

P.S. The answer to the Lighting System was the generator and the voltage regulator in the end. Thanks for the tips!

This is an excellent question. You are correct with these three colors, however, I do believe that there was a blue-gray in leather. I'm doing some research and I'll get back.:smoke:

Blue-grey (very possibly what you're looking at on yours), Charcoal, and Red are the three interior colors listed in the Corvette Black Book for '58.

So far this is what I'm finding out. The Black Book is not always correct on some issues either. You really have me involved in this now. So, I'll just keep on researching. I put the feelers out with experts on '58's.

It could be turquoise, came in cars painted Tasco Turquoise

Are you sure your car is a 58? I ask because I thought the 58 interior had more pebble grain to it. It could have been changed out ?
