Hello,
I have been trying to find out what the proper painting scheme was on the 1959 corvette. I have a 59 Crown Sapphire/Turquoise interior, numbers matching, 283/230 hp, Corvette. The small indented areas on both sides of the front (behind the bumper) are painted the same crown sapphire color as the rest of the car. I have seen other 59's which have this area painted black. Does anyone know how they came out of the factory? If you do, I would really appreciate the information.
