OK, question. I have the chance to buy a 1974 - 454 convertable, 4 speed, air, etc, 59,000 4 owner. BUT I have to sell the "68. It's a 327- 300HP, 4 speed convert, good condition, lots of "mechanicals" done. Now, what is tyhe better investment? Sell the 69 or keep it!!! Needs paint to be a real winner, but better than a "driver". I have had the 68 about 4-5 years now.
How "bout some input here. Thanks;bt

Your subject states "1974 or 1968 Big Block. " I think you mean 1974 big block.

I would go with the '74 because of the big block, plus they only made 5,474 convertibles opposed to 18,630 verts made for '68. Plus not many 454's in verts for '74. The '74 is also the first year without chrome bumpers. But, if you have a 1968 big block (not a 327 as you stated, but a 427), then I'd stick with the '68.
